Ah yeah like that setting in Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic, great game, ugly as sin mind you. Dwarf pretended to be a norm, a gentleman Orge, crazy elf and a gun slinger hero.

I still like tyria run by monkeys better.

YOU FOOOOLSSS

YOU DID IT, YOU REALLY DID IT.

No going home for that guy!!

I think the monkeys would do a better job of it than the apes we've got running the show at the moment.

Back on track - 400 years into the future Id like to see steam technology being used. Rangers having a type of fusil or rifle technology. Warriors have steam driven mekanikal Armour to support the massive weight of the huge armour pieces...(OVERSIZED WARRIORS) That could be interesting.

Trying to think of how elementals schools could advance - Its always Fire, Water, Air, Earth magic in these games...

I could see a Tyrian Renaissance or an Industrial Revolution kicking off after a couple of centuries of relative stability or recovery. Remember though, in some ways this had already happened in Tyria: gunpowder, water powered mills, mining technology, etc.

I have a thread topic related to this idea here. Unfortunately, it was exiled to the hugely popular, and overly read, lore forum.

If this is going to be Tyria 400 years later, will it have been rebuilt to pre sear perfection?

No, by that time the next Tyrian global ice age will have caused massive glaciation of the entire lands east of the Shiverpeak Mountains.

But, this will have the additional effect of lowering sea levels and the sunken lands of Orr will once more be revealed to the light of the sun.

Damn you! Damn you all!!! Damn you all to hell!!!!!

Anyway I wonder if the dwarf will share their tecnology with other race in GW2.
Seeing that they already have a lot of advance tech compare to other race in GW1. If the current king of ascalon has his IQ more than 15 he would ask the dwarf for help rebuilding Ascalon. I mean c'mon! the damn city had been on fire for 2 years!

On GW official site, where you can read a short preview of GWEN there is a girl in the left-upper corner. I think that is Gwen from prophecies. Maybe she will guide us through the Northern Areas.
